Excursion

We are planning Kamakura Half Day Tour on the last day of the workshop.

Kamakura has a long history and is said to have been inhabited since about 10,000 years ago. Nowadays, Kamakura is known as a treasure trove of historical heritage and one of the most popular tourist destinations in Japan.

In the excursion, we are going to visit three representative spots of Kamakura: Kotoku-in Temple, Hokoku-ji Temple, and Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. Experience the delights of Kamakura on this tour, and have a great time!

–12:15 Meet at the the Yokohama Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers

12:30 Depart from the hotel
12:30–13:45 Bus transfer & Lunch
* A light meal will be served.
13:45–14:30 Sightseeing at Kotoku-in Temple (The Great Buddha of Kamakura)
14:30–14:50 Bus transfer
14:50–15:35 Sightseeing at Hokoku-ji Temple (The Bamboo Garden)
15:35–15:50 Bus transfer
15:50–16:50 Sightseeing at Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine (Magnificent historical buildings representing Kamakura)
16:50–18:00 Back to the Yokohama station
