1) The registration fee includes the admission of workshop during November 22-24, 2010, proceedings, banquet, lunch, and coffee breaks.
2) Student must submit a copy of their student ID or student registration certificate issued by your organization along with the registration form.

Registration Procedure

Please complete your registration by logging-in to "My Page".
If you have not registered your personal information yet, please complete the required items on ID Application page at first in order to obtain your ID and Password.

Payment Procedure

After you complete your registration, please click the Full Payment button displayed on the Payment Status. In order to make your registration, a full deposit will be necessary. The due date for the payment is 15 November, 2010. Please note that you cannot make any payment after the due date. Full payment must be done within 14 days after your registration.

[How to pay by credit card]

Please enter your credit number and expiration date then follow steps as indicated on the screen. Your payment will be completed in about 30 seconds.

Confirmation

The Confirmation button will be displayed when you have completed your registration. Please print your confirmation slip by clicking the Confirmation button and bring it with you to the On-site Registration Desk.

Cancellation

Registration fee is not be refundable.

You can revise and/or cancel your registration by logging-in to your my Page.

Deadline for Registration

The deadline for online registration is 23:59 of November 8, 2010, Japan Standard Time (GMT+9) (The deadline for early registration is October 25, 2010.)

General Information

[Passports and Visas]

Every person entering Japan must have a valid passport. In addition, persons coming from certain countries must have a visa issued by a Japanese consulate in their country. Please be aware that in some cases, it takes more than one month to obtain a visa. For details, please inquire at your nearest Japanese Embassy or Consulate.

[Currency Exchange]

Only Japanese yen is acceptable at stores and restaurants in Japan. You can exchange money at the airport, foreign exchange banks, and other authorized exchanges upon presentation of your passport. We encourage you to exchange your money at the airport upon arrival.

[Credit Cards and Traveler's Cheques]

Visa, Master Card, American Express, Diners Club and JCB are widely accepted at hotels, department stores, shops and restaurants. Only major banks and hotels in principal cities can accept traveler's cheques, but their use in Japan is not as common as in some other countries.

[Banking]

Most banks are available for foreign currency exchange transactions from 9:00 to 15:00 on weekdays.

[Tipping]

There is no custom of tipping in Japan. Instead, at places such as restaurants, bars and hotels, a 10% service charge is usually added to your bill.

[Insurance]

Participants are advised to procure their own travel insurance, as the Organizing Committee will assume no responsibility for personal accidents, sickness, theft or property damage.

[Climate]

The conferendce will be held at a mild time of year at the end of autumn. The average temperature is around 23ºC (73ºF) in the daytime and 13ºC (55ºF) at night.

[Electrical Appliances]

Japan operates on 100 volts for electrical appliances. The frequency is 60 Hz in western Japan.

[Tax]

5% consumption tax will be added to your bill. The consumption tax is included in the price quote.
