IWSEC 2011 will be held at the Convention Hall in An block
of Institute of Industrial Science, the University of Tokyo,
on their Komaba Research Campus (Komaba II Campus).
Komaba Research Campus (Komaba II Campus) of the University of Tokyo
is located at the north edge of Meguro-ku, Tokyo,
about 2 km west of Shibuya Station.
The campus is different from
the Komaba I Campus of the University of Tokyo.
Komaba Research Campus is located about 400 m west
of Komaba I Campus.
There are two international airports
near Komaba Research Campus of the University of Tokyo:
Narita International Airport (NRT) and
Haneda Airport (HND).
By trains,
it needs more than 2 and a half hours to the campus
after arriving at Narita International Airport,
and more than 70 minutes after arriving at Haneda Airport.
It takes more by taxi (and expensive).
Please visit the website of each airport for details.
To the campus, from Komaba Toudaimae Station
(This route is the shortest and the easiest.)
The campus is about 10 minutes on foot
from Komaba Toudaimae Station
of Keio Inokashira Line.
Komaba Toudaimae Station is the second stop of
the local train of Keio Inokashira Line
from Shibuya Station.
Shibuya Station of Keio Inokashira Line is
on the first floor of Shibuya Mark City Building.
Please use a local train on Keio Inokashira Line,
because express trains do not stop at Komaba Toudaimae Station.
Please go out from the west exit (west ticket gate)
of Komaba Toudaimae Station.
The west exit is located downstairs from the platform.
The downward stairs and an elevator are
at the west end of the platform
(the same direction of the trains from Shibuya).
Please be aware that the neighboring campus
on the north of the station
(Komaba I Campus)
is NOT the symposium site.
Komaba Research Campus
is right down the street upslope to the west
from the north side of the west exit
(opposite side of the railroad tracks from the ticket gate)
of Komaba Toudaimae Station.
This street upslopes to the west
along the right side of Keio Inokashira Line
in the first 150 m,
and turns right (to the north) in about 400 m from the station.
About 60 m north from this right corner,
the east entrance gate of the campus is
on the left of the street.
Passing through a building in front
of the east entrance gate of Komaba Research Campus,
the building of the symposium (An block)
is ahead on the left.
The campus (main gate) is also about 12 minutes on foot
from Yoyogi Uehara Station
of Odakyu Odawara Line (the main line)
and Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line.
Yoyogi Uehara Station is
the fourth stop of local train,
and the first stop of express train
of Odakyu Odawara Line from Shinjuku Station.
(The route is rather complicated,
and includes steep upward slopes.)
