was held in the workshop.
- November 7, 2012, 10:00–12:00 : Malware-analysis competition (Technical Session)
- November 8, 2012, 14:50–15:50 : Malware-analysis competition (Presentation Session)
- November 8, 2012, 19:00– : Awards ceremony (during the banquet)
4 teams from around the world demonstrated their anti-malware techniques through analysis (in Technical Session) and presentation (in Presentation Session). The analysis results and presentations were scored and the teams which marked high scores were awarded as follows :
- Gold Prize : "minotaurus" team (FORTH-ICS)
- Silver Prize : "return -1" team (Ritsumeikan University)
- Bronze Prize : "Mason FLT" team (George Mason University)
